Dance Rush, Machine
Description
Dance Rush is a new rhythm game available at Zax Amusements. While still a dance game, it takes inspiration from touchscreen music titles. Instead of the traditional directional arrow pad, players interact with a large surface divided into columns. Notes cascade down the screen, prompting players to use taps, holds, slides, jumps, and even "down" notes, with cues indicating which foot to use.
The game emphasizes fast-paced footwork, including shuffle and running-man moves – there's even a tutorial specifically for these techniques. It supports both a cooperative mode, where one player stands behind the other, and team battles with multiple linked machines.
Dance Rush has a built-in camera for recording and saving gameplay clips. These clips can then be uploaded to YouTube and similar platforms. You can even add fun sticker effects over your footwork! The recording feature, along with the gameplay itself, strongly encourages freestyle dance performances. The soundtrack is a mix of electronic music and J-pop.
