You can also custom-tune your car, name your own character, and choose from 4 game modes. Customization options range from decals, paint color to upgraded parts, powered engines, and many more. Competing in special races gives you the chance to earn parts and upgrade your car performance. There is also a rechargeable nitrous oxide boost system which adds another level of excitement and challenge to the game to keep your adrenalin pumping!

• Time Attack(Speed Challenge) – time trial mode where players race their cars as fast as possible around the circuits to beat previous checkpoint times
• Local Race (LAN Required) – Race against opponents within the same location o VS Battle (2 players compete) o Multiple Battle (Compete with multiple opponents)
• Nationwide Race (Internet Required) – Race against opponents in different locations simultaneously via internet connection
